Kind words about Moonflowers:
"I'm moved by your impeccable singing in such a wide range of styles. Excellent choices on these great tunes, with a production that compliments your accomplished artistry. I can't even pick a favorite track, they're all so strong."

A Review for the French Readers...
Tina Mitchell Wilkins
Tina Wilkins has become a highly-regarded songwriter and performer in her most recent home of Texas, where she plays solo, with her husband Walt Wilkins, or when she's the beautiful, vivacious "chick singer" of the Mystiqueros.
After stops in Los Angeles and Nashville where she was an in-demand session and stage singer, she developed a reputation as a writer with a unique eye for everyday life and has blossomed in her latest Texas Hill Country-based chapter.
Tina has released 6 solo albums as well as a duet record (Be Mine) with her husband, esteemed songwriter Walt Wilkins. One of her more recent projects, Moonflowers, is a standards-infused CD released to critical acclaim in 2016. Wilkins and producer Bart De Win instill new life in standards like “At Last” and “What A Little Moonlight Can Do” and also offer an impressive piano-infused twist on Sting’s “Fields of Gold.” Together with originals that fit right in with their tracklist companions, Moonflowers is a beautiful, smoky-tinged gem in Wilkins’ discography.
Likewise, Morning Glory, her solo release on HWY 29 Records, is a favorite among fans. She wrote half the record, and picked songs from her favorite writers in Texas and Tennessee, along with an inventive, personal take on the U2 classic, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." The title song, by Jimmy Davis, is ready-to-wear radio heaven. The songs range from intimate solo performances to full-on raves featuring some of Austin's best musicians.
In 2018, Wilkins released another "standards" infused record, NIGHT JASMINE, produced by Bart de Win and Ron Flynt. This is a welcome follow-up to Moonflowers and Gather, her 2016 Christmas release. Both colored with stunning piano accompaniment, beautiful melodies and gorgeous production.
As those who know her will tell you: Tina radiates. She radiates charm, humor, grace, beauty and a love of life- and this is besides her amazing range and tone as a singer, her great songs, and her great ear for songs that will fit her perfectly.
This is an artist to enjoy and get to know. You can catch her at Luckenbach, house concerts, singing in a romantic lounge or playing wiffle ball...although she will not be wearing her kick-ass heels on the ball field.
